After starting his NFL career with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of North Texas, Robertson signed with New Orleans prior to the 2016 season. In five seasons with the Saints, Robertson became a key contributor on both defense and special teams, totaling 243 tackles(162 solo), five sacks, two forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, four interceptions and a blocked punt. His leadership and play was recognized by his teammates as he was selected team captain four straight seasons from 2017-2020. His best campaign as a Saint came in 2017, where he started 15 games at linebacker and racked up a career-high 115 tackles (71 solo), two fumble recoveries, a sack, and six tackles for loss. In his career, he has tallied 556 tackles (377 solo),nine sacks, ten interceptions, 27 passes defensed, three forced fumbles, eight fumble recoveries, one recovered for a touchdown and 52 special teams stops and two coverage fumble recoveries over 136 games with 65 starts.
