After a brief stint with the Raiders, Glover was picked up by New Orleans and turned into one of the most dominant pass rushers in the league. In just five seasons with the Saints, Glover racked up 275 tackles (218 solo), 50 sacks, 11 forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and 41 tackles for loss. After being a situational pass rusher in his first season with the Black and Gold in 1997,Glover started 63 of 64 games the four seasons after that and became an every down force. His best season came in 2000 in which he was a first team All-Pro and runner up for NFL Defensive Player of the Year, recording a league-high and career-best 17 sacks, to go along with three forced fumbles, 66 tackles and 18 stops for loss. He finished his NFL career with four All-Pro selections and six Pro Bowl appearances and is regarded as one of the best defensive players in franchise history.
